Harbor Family Coaching
Helping families build peaceful, Christ-centered homes through practical coaching and support for autism and developmental disabilities.
Whether you're navigating challenging behaviors, developmental differences, physical activity concerns, family routines, or simply longing for more peace in your home, Harbor Family exists to encourage and equip you with practical tools rooted in evidence-informed family principles, and the optional addition of biblical encouragement.
As I complete my graduate education in Marriage & Family Therapy, Harbor Family offers family coaching and education, not counseling or psychotherapy. My passion for serving families is shaped by years of experience supporting children in homes, school, and community settings, including work as a teacher and director in early childhood and special education classrooms, an Associate Behavior Therapist for children on the autism spectrum, and owner of a disability-focused adaptive fitness service for families.
My hope is that every family I serve leaves feeling more equipped, more encouraged, and more confident to build a home marked by grace, peace, and faith in Christ.
Harbor Family was created as part of The Family Generation's mission to strengthen families in every season of life. Our abilities do not determine our worth. Every body, every mind, every ability bears the image of God.
Is Harbor Family right for you?
Harbor Family may be a good fit if you are:
- Raising a child with autism or another developmental disability.
- Feeling overwhelmed by family routines or challenging behaviors and need support finding solutions/making effective visuals and materials for your home.
- Need support in your child's health and fitness routine through learning and receiving an effective individualized wellness plan. I focus on overall wellness, strength and endurance, mobility & balance, confidence & nervous system support.
- Looking for encouragement and practical strategies to bring greater peace to your home through the HARBOR Framework.
- A Christian parent looking for practical guidance rooted in biblical principles. I also work with families who do not want biblical principles included in their coaching.
- Wanting support that complements - not replaces - professional medical, educational, or mental health care when needed.
